Mariella West and band are soaking up everything to do with the Brighton Soul scene. Smooth vocals are beautifully accompanied and complemented by the four piece blissful band.

Support for the soul comes from Laura and the Bass, who is exactly that, but not just that. Plucking away with such poise and serenity as she gently expresses echoing vocals.

Opening the night is the unique amalgamation of folk, jazz, soul and pop of Rob Godfrey and his slightly bitter and twisted outlook on life.

25.02.2016 Theme your Thursday with All That Jazz

Every month Eyes and Ears Brighton select a different style of music and hand pick the best local bands and artists from that genre to take us there.

This THEME THURSDAY is dedicated to all things Jazzy and Bluesy with live bands The Wolftone Two and Phily K.

The Wolftone Two are a vintage swing duo from Brighton who are making waves in the events industry. Their set ranges from popular 1920s jazz and swing standards to modern tunes that have been given a swing twist.

We’ll be beginning the night with some Blues from another Brighton based duo Phily K. From this two piece you can expect a powerful yet delicate blend of vocals and keys, performing a mix of re-worked covers and originals.
