The Late Escape 2018

6th Apr 2018

As if being Europe’s foremost festival for new music wasn’t enough, The Late Escape, TGE’s late night electronic strand, has just got a whole load bigger with us hosting two of their most high-profile shows to date. After a motherload of live music in the daytime,  Friday & Saturday night see the venue taken over by Berlin-based booking agency Higher Ground and Crack Magazine respectively.

18.05.18 Higher Ground presents Ross From Friends (Live), Hammer, Gideön & Mr Bongo

24-year-old lo-fi linchpin Felix Weatherall, aka Ross From Friends heads up a heavy line-up of talent presented by Higher Ground. The party will also feature Thunder Disco resident and Bicep collaborator, Hammer, Block9/NYC Downlow captain Gideön and local heroes Mr Bongo.

19.05.18 Crack Magazine presents Giant Swan (Live), Laurel Halo (DJ), Willow & Mehtola

Crack present a selection of artists showcasing the music they champion, including Berlin-based experimentalist Laurel Halo, analogue Bristol noise-makers Giant Swan, and ascendant Mancunian selector Willow – who features on Crack Magazine’s list of The 50 Most Exciting DJs in the World (Right Now). Support comes from Middle Floor Records’ Mehtola.
