Sat 30 Jan
12pm - LATE
Being in The Dog Haus has never looked better. A new gourmet hot dog restaurant The Dog Haus has landed with us at Patterns.
Feeding the hungry folk of Brighton with fully-loaded hot dogs plus free chips on the house every weekday after work (when you buy a drink), the menu features utterly delicious and slightly barking-mad toppings inspired by tongue-in-cheek themes.
They’re already serving up from now, but to celebrate their official launch, we’ll be hosting our very own celebration of sausage on Saturday 30th January 2016.
The launch party and half price hot dogs will run from Noon to 6pm with the sausage dog fancy dress pageant kicking off at 2pm. Contestants should dress their pups in their finest Sunday Best or wackiest fancy dress (bonus points will be awarded for owners and dogs that match).
Our compère will be giving out awards and prizes for categories including ‘best dressed pup’ and ‘prettiest bitch’. Photo opportunities galore will be guaranteed as dressed up-pups strut their stuff down our ‘dog-walk’.
At 3pm our hot dog eating contest will begin. So if you think you can handle a lot of sausage then come and show us what you’re made of. The winner will be crowned King of Sausage Forevermore and will win their height in hot dogs.
Other prizes up for grabs include hand-made crochet dog jackets and bar tabs. And look out for our free dog-aerobics session around 4pm to help burn off some of that sausage.
If you’d like to pre-register for the hot dog eating competition or sausage dog fancy dress competition, please email firstname.lastname@example.org (you can also sign up on the day!)
